问：作为国际市场的老牌交易商，是否可以请您为中国关注外汇的网友介绍下IFX Markets, Inc？

City Index,Ltd.受到FSA监管，在欧盟范围经营金融业务。

问：最近网友谈得最多的话题就是关于外汇行业的监管，想请问下IFX Markets金融产品所受到的监管情况？

答：Currently there is no regulation in China for FX or CFD, as a result of this, clients accounts are regulated in the US under the NFA and under ASIC in Australia. We hope that 2009 may offer some positive approach to the regulations in China.

目前中国没有外汇或是差价合约的监管，因此，在美国，客户的账户是受到美国国家期货协会的监管，而澳大利亚的客户账户是受到澳洲证券和投资委员会的监管。希望2009年中国将出台一些对以上衍生产品的监管政策。

 

问：全球性的金融危机是否已经对于外汇这个行业产生直接影响？IFX Markets是否受到影响？

答：We have had very little impact on business due to the global crisis, especially in China, this is due in fact to the volatility of the markets over the last few months which has flowed through into global currencies. FX and CFD products are very volatile normally, the tremendous swings we've seen have kept us very, very busy。

在全球危机状况下我们的业务受到的影响很小，特别在中国，主要是因为过去几个月流入全球货币市场的资金使得市场波动性增大。外汇和差价合约产品通常比较震荡，如此剧烈的波动使得我们的业务非常的繁忙。

 

问：金融危机有可能持续下去，对于外汇行业有什么样的后续影响？

答：I think that the volatility will continue to have a very positive effect on the FX industry. The current volatility creates new opportunities for clients almost every day

我认为，波动率将继续利好外汇市场。每一天的货币波动率都会给予投资者新的投资机会。

 

问：很多行业都存在着隐形的领导层性别差异，作为一名成功女性，外汇市场是否有一些特殊的行业性质，特别适合女性成为行业的执牛耳者？

答：The forex industry suits both men and women but the nature of sales and finance which is very much a male dominated industry, requires women to be aggressive in their approach to business. As a women doing this work in China I have not encountered any racial or sexual problems, in fact quite the opposite, clients are very welcoming to a woman doing this work and admire the fact that a foreigner has relocated to China.

外汇行业适合男性和女性，但对于男性主导的销售和金融领域来说，女性需要付出更多的努力。作为在中国从事这种职位的女性，我还没有遇到领导层性别歧视的问题，事实上是相反的，很多客户对从事该行业的女性（尤其是在中国发展的外国人）表示认可。

 

问：提到外汇行业，针对不同的投资者，有一个问题大家都非常想了解，相比于股票、基金、黄金、期货市场，外汇投资市场有什么样优势和劣势，或者说这个市场未来的潜力如何？

答：Currency trading is a 24 hour markets where clients can trade all day and all night, in fact a vast number of our clients trade at night during the New York shift which is the evening time for China. Forex is highly speculative, so it appeals to people who are willing to take a risks in the markets. IFX also offer gold trading, once again, the volatile and speculative nature of gold trading has made this product a popular investment among clients.

IFX open accounts with as little as 250 USD and they can attain leverage of up to 400:1 which again is an interesting element of trading that Chinese people enjoy. There is huge potential in the Chinese market; the size of the population in China dictates that there is a long way for this product to go and I also feel that as Chinese people become richer they are looking for different means of investing.

外汇交易是24小时运作的，事实上，绝大多数客户是在纽约时段（也就是北京时间凌晨）交易的。外汇是极具投机的一种产品，投资者愿意承担高风险获取更高的收益。我们还提供了黄金交易，近期市场所见到的动荡也让我们看到了这只产品的频繁交易。

问： 我们都知道，中国大陆暂时还未开放外汇保证金交易，想请问您对于将来在中国发展外汇保证金业务的看法？

答：There are many many companies that are offering this product in China, some of them legitimate, others not. Clients need to do their research on who they work with and the type of company they deposit funds with. Because of the lack of regulation in China, there is a high risk that companies will take advantage of this market, some form of regulation by the government, I believe, will eliminate the bad companies and establish some boundaries within which legitimate FX companies both local and international can operate.

在中国，有很多公司已经提供了外汇保证金这种产品的服务，有的合法，有的不合法。客户需要对即将交易和存款的公司进行调查。这是因为中国缺乏了对外汇的监管，有些高风险的公司乘机从中分一杯羹。如果中国能够出台一些对外汇的监管政策，我相信将减少不合法的公司，以及推高了外汇交易的门槛。

 

问：您现在是否也在进行外汇交易？其他理财产品有在投资吗？如果有，请问是哪方面的投资？

答：I currently do not trade FX, company policy does not allow employees to trade their own accounts. I invest in the US stock markets mainly as it is not easy for foreigners to invest in China.

目前我没有炒汇。IFX公司不允许员工在自己的公司开户。我主要投资美国股市，因外国人在中国投资受限制。

 

问：最后一个问题，如果不在外汇行业，您最有可能从事什么工作？

答：I enjoy my job a great deal and have an excellent team in Shanghai who have helped me to build a respectable and very prosperous company. Were I not working here I am sure I would be working in some other form of financial services company - but I enjoy the excitement of FX and the buzz that surrounds the office. I also like to see people take advantage of and enjoy a new product.

我很享受当前的这份工作，在上海，有一支杰出的团队协助我。如果我不从事外汇，我最有可能从事其他类型的金融服务行业。但不管怎样，我对外汇仍兴趣高昂，也喜欢看到人们对一种新产品的喜爱。
